Starting tomorrow, the world’s best orienteers will be in Davos Klosters battling for the final points in this year’s overall World Cup. Where can I follow the world’s best orienteers live? Spectators are very welcome at the EGK Orienteering World Cup Final. Maybe you’re combining cheering for the stars with your own participation at the Swiss national orienteering events this weekend, or you’re coming to Davos Klosters specifically to follow the World Cup races, or you’re going to follow the races from the sofa at home?

Saturday 1 October 2022

Arena: Madrisa, Klosters; 46°54’10.3″N 9°51’50.7″E

Arriving by public transport: to Klosters Dorf train station, then 5 minutes on foot to the Madrisa Bahn

Arriving by car: Parking spaces in Klosters Dorf are marked from the cantonal road. If these parking spaces in Klosters Dorf are full, all long-term parking spaces in Klosters Platz can be used free of charge. The short-term parking spaces must be paid for and may not be occupied for longer than the specified period. From Klosters Platz to Klosters Dorf by train (once an hour), bus (twice an hour) or on foot. There are no parking spaces at the Madrisa Bahn!

Then take the 4-seater gondolas to the finish arena at the Madrisa mountain station.

Arena features: You can see: the mass start, arena passage during the races, athletes crossing the finish line.
You can listen to the event speaker live commentary, and view GPS and video on the large screen.
You can also buy your food and drink at the catering stands. Please support these.

Arena: Hoehwald, Davos; 46°49’26.9″N 9°51’41.7″E

Arriving by public transport: to Davos Dorf train station, then shuttle bus or bus no. 301 to the Seebüel stop, from there it is a 10-15 minute walk to the finish arena. Getting off at Davos Wolfgang train station is not permitted.

Arriving by car: Bünda car park in Davos Dorf or car park at Davoser See, parking ticket CHF 5 per 10 hours (other car parks in Davos Dorf sometimes CHF 1/hour). Then shuttle bus or bus no. 301 to the Seebüel stop, from there it is a 10-15 minute walk to the finish arena. There are no parking spaces in Davos Wolfgang!

Alternatively: Walk from Davos Dorf on the path west of Lake Davos to the WKZ, approx. 30 minutes.
